The Rise Up Encampment is over, and what an amazing Encampment it was! We had just over 10,000 young men and leaders attend, and all who came seemed to have a wonderful time. We enjoyed great weather and, despite many sunburns and a few crashes out on the BMX courses, we were blessed with safety. The vast majority of participants earned the Thomas S. Monson Award. We invite you young men to explain to your parents what you did to earn the award, and we invite you parents to ask your sons what they learned and experienced.Encampment Book.
With your help, Encampment historians Bob & Loretta Evans have just finished compiling a written history (including dozens & dozens of photographs) of the Encampment, highlighting stories of how the Encampment has impacted those who participated and changed the course of young men's lives.
